Prayer Walk

Twelve hours later, I finally have a chance to blog! Thank you for praying for our prayer walk. They are always so amazing. God spoke some interesting things to all of us. One thing that He spoke to both me and another person on the walk as we walked around a school, was that the school was the one place that even gang members still respected. They knew it was a place of light and hope for future generations. As we walked around it, there wasn't any graffiti anywhere on the walls. Abandoned houses had graffiti, other buildings and businesses had graffiti. Isn't that interesting? The school is a safe haven for children. We sat and prayed at the school for many, many things before walking back to the car.

After the prayer walk, Greg and I went to Modesto and picked up our tile. It was 5400 lbs. and our truck handles about 3500 lbs. One pallet in the truck and one in the trailer and we made it home at 50 mph. Then we unloaded it, showered and went to Stockton for great food, conversation, and Kristen's birthday. I think my brother wants to buy a Wii and Guitar Hero after playing it.

Now we're home and soon will be moving concrete. Tomorrow, Greg takes out the rest of the stucco. We're excited and pooped. I'm going to see if I can get a quick nap in before working outside tonight. Blessings on what is left of this Saturday night!
